cookies = weight gain

Yep. Ate a lot of sweets this week. Had a gain of 2.25 pounds last night at weigh-in. With so much holiday stuff (parties,general sweets roaming the area)...6 of our 8 members had a gain.

But I have slapped myself silly and told myself to straighten up! I have a plan to survive all the goodies of this week: Allow myself ONE sweet per day.

Also, because cookies have been my weakness lately, I commit to NO cookies until I reach 290. Then I give myself permission to get a tube of my favorite cookie dough and eat cookies without guilt....just for that one day.

  1. Sorry to hear that everyone gained. It is a rough time of year to eat healthy BUT you do have a choice. I am baking tonight and I am allowing myself one cookie and I budgeted it in my calories for today.

    I strongly discourage you to allow daily treats. Especially if they are sugary treats because it will just trigger you to eat more sugar. Maybe you could treat yourself to getting your brows done or a manicure or something else for getting to 290 instead of food (tube of dough)

    Hang in there!

  2. I'm new here. Wondering . . what do you do in order to burn calories? It can make all the difference in the world to move a bit more. I'll read further and learn more of your strategy!
