7 things every day

1. Eat within calorie range, always.

2. Exercise at least 45 minutes every day except Wednesdays.

3. Drink 132 oz or more of water every day.

4. Have at least 5 fruits/veggies daily.

5. Every night, text my numbers to my accountability friend.

6. Don't even think about going to bed until the next day's food has been planned.

7. Set out tomorrow's clothes before I go to bed. (huge time saver for me)

So there you have it, my New Year's resolutions :) So far, so good.

Wouldn't it be awesome to NEVER have a gain in 2012? I'm going to strive for that.

We had an awesome TOPS meeting last night.

I have been incredibly busy.

Rock this day, okay? ;) ttyl

  1. Great goals. I like that you have an accountability friend to keep you in check. Maybe I should consider asking a friend to do the same for me.

  2. Love this post! :)
Monday to Friday I know exactly what I am eating from waking up until I get home. Dinner is one of a couple of meals but always within a set calorie goal. Desert is now greek yogurt with some fruit mixed in.

  3. In answer to your question. I stopped cooking because I found working out calories was frustrating and I wanted to be exact in my portions and daily calories. I also have an issue with portion control. So I switched to items that I can easily see the calories too.. like steamfresh veggies and meals for dinner.

It's a time issue as well. Being able to prepare my dinner in 8 minutes and know exactly what the calories are gives me more time. I documented what I am doing recently on one of the tabs on my blog. It is not ideal, but it works for me at the moment.

The goal is that when I get closer to my idea weight and can relax a little about calories, I want to start preparing and cooking the type of healthy meals I see many others post about. It is just not something I want to do just yet.

  5. Your things seem great. The water amount seems a little high. I have 110 ozs a day in the summer and 88oz in the shorter Florida winter. I am worried you might float away at 132 oz. ;-)

If you ever need a sub for accountability when your mentor is in crisis, you can always count on me.
