Thank you, thank you, thank you for the comments. It helps so much to know I am read. Yes, I probably am depressed. A couple of years ago I took prozac for 6 months. I should probably go back on it. But I hate to. I am giving it some thought.

I don't know if you do this or not, but one thing that helps me it to major on the mental part of this journey, and minor on the food part.
ReplyDeleteYesterday was a tough day for me because I did NOT tune in very close to how I was feeling. Emotions aren't supposed to run our lives, but they are definitely CLUES. In order for me to make progress, I need to face my stuff, not stuff my face.
I didn't do that yesterday, and ended up going over a little bit in my calories. I kinda sorta knew how I was feeling, but didn't slow down and tune in and deal with it.
Anyway, if a food journal helps you, that is terrific. But you might want to also consider an Emotions Journal, even if just a private one, if that is more comfortable for you.
Hugs,
Loretta

Where are your fruits and vegetables?! Sometimes our brains become depressed when our bodies are improperly fueled.
