Amy is recovering from the chicken salad (or whatever that mystery food was) that the old ladies fed her for lunch today at the TOPS area "fun" day. She is going to bed now..............more later when she feels human again.
This has been a public service announcement. ;) LOL
May I announce this in my professional announcing voice? OK...
ReplyDelete"Ladies and Gentleman! Somebody, and we're not mentioning any names here, but somebody left out the chicken salad a little too long and Amy is now sick as a result. We will miss her presence here---but she's a strong person and will be back as soon as it clears her system. We now return to the previously scheduled comment."
You're doing fantastic---I hope you get to feeling better fast!! Get some rest-fluids- and...what am I saying??? You know what to do!!!
Blessings
Sean
Oh, bless her heart. That is so sad. Hope she is feeling better now.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I hope she starts feeling better soon food poisoning is nothing to mess with hope its over soon. No more mystery foods.
ReplyDeleteOh, no!
ReplyDeleteThat is just going above and beyond in the name of weight loss.
(That was a really lame joke to try to make you feel better.)
Feel better soon!
Awh, Im so sorry! Food Poisoning is the worst. Hope you feel better tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteOh man! That's how happened to me before when we went to a ladies meeting. Stuff was left out waiting for the meeting to be over and lots of ladies got sick.
ReplyDeleteFood poisoning can kill you. No joke. I highly encourage you to go to www.safetables.org, the premier resource for victims of bad food. With a chicken salad, it could have been a number of things - sat out too long, cross contamination, cleanliness, temperatures. The question to ask is did others at the meeting get sick too? If so, that's an indication of a problem with the food. Only fecal and blood tests from a doctor can really determine if you had food poisoning or not - and can give you something for it. Hope you feel better - I got the T-shirt too!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're doing okay and that no news is good news. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteYou okay???
ReplyDeleteI certainly wasn't trying to make lite of your condition with the above comment. I was just trying to make you smile Amy. But after reading it back, it did come across a little inappropriate.
ReplyDeleteI do wish you the best and I hope you are doing OK. If you need anything, just ask!
My best
Sean
